Guidelines for Returning Students

Guidelines and Procedures for Doctoral Students who completed the Collaborative Graduate Program in Transitional Justice and Post-Conflict Reconstruction as Master’s students

Doctoral students who completed the Collaborative Graduate Program in Transitional Justice and Post-Conflict Reconstruction as Master’s students may apply to join the Collaborative Graduate Program as doctoral students.

The returning student must complete both the TJ Centre’s Application Form and the SGPS Admission Form.

The returning student will be required to complete the core course a second time, under the course code TJ 9502: Advanced Transitional Justice and Post-Conflict Reconstruction.  The student will track the assigned reading, and complete all assignments, focusing on the subject in a more independent, focused manner.

The returning student will be required to complete two additional half courses in a Transitional Justice-related area, possibly including one from a program other than the student’s home program, beyond those that were completed to fulfill the requirements of the Master’s program.  Students should consult the list of approved courses.
